January 22, 2026 – XFER was proud to join the community at the iconic Roostertail for the annual COTS Soup City: “The Detroit Edition.”

Representing XFER at this year’s signature fundraiser were team members Carly Czech and Brandon Hartke, along with their significant others. It was a night filled with Detroit pride, vibrant culture, and—most importantly—a shared commitment to supporting local families.

As a “26 Peterboro Sponsor,” XFER is honored to support COTS (Coalition On Temporary Shelter) in its vital mission. This event is dedicated to helping Detroit families break the cycle of generational poverty and homelessness, empowering them with the tools they need to embrace stability and thrive.
The "Detroit Edition" theme highlighted the city's best. From local sports gear to nods to Detroit’s rich musical history, the atmosphere was an incredible celebration of our community’s triumphs and the partnerships built through COTS over the past year.

The evening featured soulful performances by Randy Scott, Charity, and Demetrius Nabors & Jeff Ponders, all expertly hosted by Michael McDaniel.
